Stats and skills
I am a craftsman mule on the atlantic shard. My skillset includes the following:

Mining

Blacksmithing

Tinkering

Lumberjacking(going to loose this one in favor of taming

Carpentry
Magery (to get around)

I am aiming for 100 strength, at the moment i'm not too concerned about the distribution of the other 125 points to dex or int, as i dont exactly have a 225 total yet. I guess it's all depending on how well my quest for 6 way master goes.
Stomping grounds
I can usually be found in one of several places. First stop should be Caina, as i now reside in this cemetary as a slave to the Ebon Skull. As a craftsman, however, my duties sometimes call me outside of the dark city. At these times i am likely to be found either in Minoc, Vesper, Yew, or Skara Brae. But the top of the list of places to look should always be the Insanity's Workshop, as this building now functions as my base of operations.
My Background
I was once a happy, productive member of society. I paid my taxes, did my job, and all was right with the world. Then the dreams came. Horrid, painful dreams that permeated my waking world as well as my sleep. Strange visions of things past or those yet to come, i cannot clearly tell. Many of them are obviously not of this world. Far too many nights have i stayed awake, avoiding the horrors of a world i could not possibly understand, suffering from things that would never leave me, only grow to such proportions as to overwelm my sanity until there was nothing left of me but a quivering heap.
Then one night i passed into a deep sleep and was surprised to find that the nightmares did not come. It was my first dreamless sleep in months. The next day I felt not so much refreshed, but certainly less drained. That night a vision of beauty came to me, the most wonderful woman, she radiated power and happiness. She spoke to me, but i could not remember what she said.
Again i awoke, this time fully refreshed. I stepped outside to collect some wood, and i went at the trees with my axe and a newfound passion for the activity. I unloaded my lumber in my small hut, and decided to do some deep-cave mining. After only a few hours in the mines i had collected nearly three thousand ingots. I hauled the lot back to my house and did some smithing. After amassing a dozen suits of armor i took a few into town to sell.
And there i saw her, in the North Vesper Provisioner shop, the one from my dreams. She was dressed differntly than in my dreams, with a hat and full robes, but i sensed it from her. She was haggling with a shopkeeper over something, and when they had finished she looked up at me, and vanished with a smile on her face. I was shocked, for i myself can hide quite well, but she had vanished as if into the air, right in front of my eyes. I asked the shopkeeper, "where did that woman go?"
"I'm sorry sir? What woman?"
"The one you where just talking to."
"I've been here by my self all afternoon. You are the first person i've seen in the past 3 hours."
"Do not toy with me, shopkeeper. She was here, talking to you. Tell me the truth, now, or i shall be forced to expose you to the athorities!"
(i knew this shop dealt in illicit goods, for they are one of the best sources in the land for cheap stolen weapons, as well as the finest of the fresh-off-the-forge variety. I did not care about losing a distributor, this man was lying and i had to find that woman.)
"Good sir, if you do not ease your tone right now, you will be escorted out of this building and into jail."
I grabbed the pompous ass by his collar and began to scream into his face.
"You insolent sirrah! You will-" I'm not certain i finished what i was saying, though i am quite sure i was knocked unconcious by a large blow from behind, either with a gauntleted fist, or the blunt handle of a weapon. The mark on the back of my head was too painful to examine thoroughly.
I awoke in prison. I recognized the brickwork as that of Trinsic. What is odd about that is the shop was in Vesper.
As i tenderly checked my injury, i heard someone whisper into my ear. I looked around and found that i was still alone in the large cell. Again someone whispered, still i could not catch what was said. Then i saw a face, the face of the woman of my visions, wearing the same clothes she was wearing in the shop. She looked like a druid in those deep robes, but rather wraithlike, as her full form stood before me, fading barely into focus, then vanishing again. Whispering incoherently and sounding as the wind, she pointed a translucent finger at a marking on a brick.
I went to the spot in the wall and examined the marking and the brick. The brick seemed solidly planted into the wall, old but still ages away from needing any maintenance. I brushed the buildup of grime and dust away from the marking and saw that it was very small writing, nearly two full paragraphs in a space the size of my thumb. Some of the markings where gargish, some orcish, and most in an ancient dialect of human. A wonderous brick indeed, to hold these markings for so obviously long. A few of the markings i did not recognize at all. I pondered the few words i could pick out with my rudimentary education. Some of the words i found where:
Decay, Conquest, Power, Glory, Wealth, Rebirth, Service, Reward, and a phrase that i think said 'from the deepest comes the darkest' I looked at the form floating there in the cell and demanded "Who are you? What do you want of me?" I knew this one had made the nightmares stop, i owed her my sanity, my life.
She pointed at the markings again, then at a passing guard. I glanced at the guard, then back at her, but she was not there. I called the guard over and asked him about the markings. He looked me up and down, as if sizing me up, then he returned down the hall and fetched a desk clerk. I did not catch what was said in their hushed exchange, but i feel it was for my benefit. When the two finished whispering about me, the guard continued on his rounds and the desk clerk vanished through a door. A few moments later the brick slowly slid into the wall and to one side. In the opening i saw a small pouch. I took the pouch and felt arcane energy flow through my arm as i opened it and found a recall scroll and a recall rune bearing the name 'Peace'. Grasping the rune in both hands, i read the scroll and closed my eyes. I opened my eyes and found myself in a hut on the isle of ice.
The woman was there, naked and covered in archaic runes, and still not quite solid. She chanted something in a harsh voice, i think it was gargish, but her accent was too heavy for me to decipher her words. She pointed at me and chanted some more, and i could feel her grasp on my mind. I was paralyzed, i could not even speak, only listen. "You are now my slave. You have admitted to yourself that you owe me your soul, and i must now lay claim to what is mine. In return for your loyal servitude, you will be rewarded with all that oblivion can offer. I have only temporarily protected you from the visions you fear, to stop them completely you must give yourself freely to my will. My every whim is your only purpose, my call is your reason for being. When i beckon you will not hesitate, when i speak you obey fully. Do you submit to the will of your one true master?" Without realizing i could again move, i nodded my head and knealed before the darkest master in the land.
